My Story

Why I Think Like an Owner

I didn’t start out trying to build a marketing career — I started by building things I genuinely cared about.


Back in the early 2000s, I launched Bikeskinz.com, a niche e-commerce brand focused on custom motorcycle graphics. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a real business. I had to learn everything the hard way: branding, website design, SEO, paid ads, fulfillment, customer service, and how to actually turn traffic into sales. There was no playbook — just constant testing, fixing what didn’t work, and doubling down on what did. Over time, Bikeskinz grew into a recognizable brand with custom clients, a monetized YouTube channel, and consistent online sales.


Not long after that, I built Sudosonic.com, an instructional video platform for music workstations and keyboards. This was a completely different challenge. Instead of physical products, I was selling knowledge. That forced me to get very good at messaging, funnels, conversion optimization, and trust-building — because if the marketing didn’t clearly communicate value, people didn’t buy. Growing Sudosonic taught me how content, search traffic, and paid media work together when your product is the expertise.


Running both companies over many years gave me something most marketers never get: firsthand experience being the business owner and the marketer. I wasn’t spending someone else’s budget — I was spending my own. Every ad, every landing page, every piece of copy had to justify itself.


That experience shaped how I work today. I focus on strategies that are practical, measurable, and grounded in real-world results — not theory. I understand what it’s like to build from scratch, to scale, to make mistakes, and to fix them. And I bring those lessons into every project I take on.


In short, I don’t just market businesses — I’ve built them.
